4 weeks left of school
So here is the quick update on my life you have all been waiting for...
- only 4 weeks of school left
- Sam i am joining in the dieting because i need to be able to fit into the dress for courtney's wedding at the end of may and the more i lose the better the dress will feel!
- i still need $1275 for Peru
- 2 months until i am in Peru
- If i can survive the week after Easter the rest of the semester is all downhill from there and i will quit complaining about school
- Waco Habitat for Humanity is having a summer softball team so i can get my competitiveness out
- I told my dad about my tattoo and he did not flip out!!!!!!! He took it very well
- and lastly the book i recommend to y'all to read Beloved Community: How Faith Shapes Social Justice, From the Civil Rights Movement to Today. it is wonderful and i am only on page 34. i have even almost cried once. almost...not quite though don't get too excited!
And the question for this week is what are your feelings on this immigrant bill that is causing all of these demonstrations? Should the church and social workers be able to help illegal immigrants? Why or why not.

I'm glad that everything is going so well for you! As for the immigrant bill....as sad as it is to say, I still don't know much about it. This is why I'm going to do some research on it. :)
Yeah for the post! I am su re you don't need to go on a diet.
Here's what i think about the immigration bill. . . I don't think we should be allowing them to stay in the country unless they are pursuing citizenship. I don't think we need to paying for them and supporting them when they are not paying taxes. of course I think that about most of my clients who are chronic non-workers. Just some initial thoughts, will post more later.
PS- how was Austin?
